About Me

I am a transactional and litigation attorney with over twelve years of experience litigating cases in federal district courts around the country. In addition to litigating cases in Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Nebraska, Texas, Virginia, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and before the International Trade Commission, I also routinely prosecute trademark applications and prepare transactional documents for companies of all sizes.

I am currently an attorney at Messner Reeves LLP in Phoenix, Arizona. (You can check out my firm bio here: Isaac S. Crum). My goal is to provide sophisticated representation to my clients, both large and small. If you are involved (or thinking of becoming involved) in a litigation or transaction which involves intellectual property, or if you are just interested in learning how you can secure or leverage your intellectual property to grow your business and your bottom line, contact me!

Prior to joining Messner Reeves in 2021, I spent the last thirteen years litigating intellectual property cases across the country for clients of every size. From $2 trillion “Fortune 10” companies to mom-and-pop stores and pre-revenue startups. These cases have run the gamut from semiconductor cases before the International Trade Commission in Washington, D.C., trademark and patent cases in Arizona and the Ninth Circuit, cancellation and opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board, and appeals to the Federal Circuit and United States Supreme Court.

I have a degree in computer engineering from the University of Arizona where I also attended law school. Upon graduation, I began my legal career in Washington, D.C. at the international law firms of McDermott Will & Emery and Weil Gotshal & Manges. I also had the opportunity to spend time at Quarles & Brady doing patent and trademark litigation as well as helping to build the Scottsdale office of Tucson-based firm of Rusing Lopez & Lizardi.
